W.O.W.

Ok, I'm not an over reactor. I mean, I'll fully anticipate things, but usually my expectations end up ruining a movie. In the fact that I highly anticipated Spiderman and it was terrible. I mean, Kirsten Dunst shouldn't be allowed to speak in anything anymore (at least, not since Interview with a Vampire and Virgin Suicides). I also have seen thousands of movies, so I'm really good at "calling" plots. With all that in mind:
THE DARK KNIGHT WAS AMAZING!!!!

I'm not going to spoil any plots because I understand it's only been out for one full day. I actually saw it in the IMAX (Which I strongly recommend if you can make it to one). I can really tell the cinematography was shot with intention to view in IMAX quality. Just wanting to let you know. I also was waiting the entire movie to find a flaw in Heath Ledger's performance. I didn't find a single one. It's phenomenal. The plot lines, the cinematography, and every character was how I envisioned it. So, I stand corrected. Heath Ledger's possible Oscar nomination that has been discussed in the Academy community = merited. I never thought I would say that for an action movie, but it's that incredible. I know what you're thinking, "But, Blair, you're getting my hopes all high and now I'll be disappointed." Well, I assure you, you will not be. In any way, shape or form. The great Kevin Smith, director of Mallrats and Clerks, said this about Heath and I couldn't agree more: "Heath Ledger didn't so much give a performance as he disappeared completely into the role."

Agreed 100%. Heath Ledger did cease to exist and fully became the Joker the entire time he was filming that movie.
