Seaweed and cheap gas

This weekend was the lovely trip to Port Aransas. Who was involved you ask? David, his parents and his brother and me. It was actually quite fun with lots of relaxation. My family is crazy active, so when we travel, we have every hour of the trip planned, so it was nice to travel with a family that doesn't have that go-go-go attitude and that actually vacations.

The beach was fine. It was filled with seaweed. However, ironically, we were the last complex before Corpus Christi county (where they maintain their beaches), so we would just walk 100 feet more to Corpus and lay on their clean sand versus our seaweed filled sand. I'm not sure if I got a tan, but I don't really mind. It was nice to just relax. And I really wanted to make sure not to get burned, so I wore sunscreen. SPF 15, in fact.

This is my last week at the Statesman and it feels weird. My business boss, the one that's kind of crazy, asked me today if I was nostaglic when I turned in my last Up the Ladder file. I looked at her and said
"I'm not quite sure nostalgic is the word I'd use."

I'm starting to get some things on Flash. Some of it is really coming back to me, but some of it, I feel like I never learned in those classes I took. Well, hopefully, they'll be patient with me at my new job.
