Corny title. I really need to teach myself Flash and fast for this new job. I purchased the book seen to your left. It's actually written by Mindy McAdams, a lady I met here at the Statesman when she came to teach us about how to blog effectively. Needless to say, no one listened and our blogs are pretty much a conduit to get information out quickly instead of a place to state opinions and bring out your inner voice. But, I disgress...
I need to teach myself the program. I mean, I took a Flash class in high school (holla Multimedia!) and then did a Flash project in college. However, that was a year ago at least. And to say the least, I don't remember everything about it. So, I think this book will help me, maybe not learn the program in and out, but at least have some creative ideas for how to implement it in the workplace. At least, that's my hope.
I'm at work right now and I'm starting to think about pulling a George Costanza and doing this guy to my right:

I woke up Christine, after quite a ruckus night with her new beau what's-his-name and we trudged to the theater to see Mamma Mia on the big screen. Now, I went to see this mainly because I really hated the musical and wanted to see a different interpretation of it for the silver screen. The cinematography made me want to go back to Greece and the main girl made me want to grow my hair out again. Besides that, same ol' same ol. Lack of plot and great music. Though, Meryl Streep did beautifully. I wasn't aware she could sing, especially not that well. Though her tone left something to be desired at times, her feeling was there whole-heartedly. Pierce Brosnan, however, should take some singing lessons or possibly stay away from singing next time. Watch below to my favorite song from the musical, which, don't worry, does't ruin the plot since none of the songs have any influence on the plot. At all. Like, at all.
Also, some great news. I won my office's British Open pool. Defending champion Padraig Harrington (my first round pick) won and my last round pick Simon Wakefield (who I picked for fun because he sounded like he had the most British name) won it for me. Yay! Not mention Ames and Goosen brining up the rear of awesome. So yay money!
