UT is ranked No. 2 in the preseason polls, and the last time they were ranked No. 2, well, you remember...
I think this season is going to be a good one. I would be like everyone else and predict Florida-UT in the national championship game, but I'm just not sure. If USC gets in there again, I would gladly rip their hearts again another time. :) But, honestly, I don't think USC has the cojones this year to do it without Sanchez. OU can qualify for sure, but if there's a three-way tie again, I don't think the voters are going to side with OU this year, seeing as the embarrassment of last season.
Overall, I'm really hoping I can go to a football game this year. It's so dang expensive, but I think it would be worth it.
And, in the words of Danny Davis, UT Longhorn Band? Play us out.

Florida won't get to the national championship... because they have to come to Baton Rouge on October 11th. :)
