I did well. I got an 85% on my review. Charlie, my boss, told me that he's a really harsh grader (as in he very rarely gives 4's or 5's) so the fact that I got many helped. A couple things I need to improve on were not shocking to me. My news judgment still needs to form (considering I'm still really young). My self-reliance sometimes gets in the way, according to him, which I can see. I often times take on way too much and lose my focus. I need to prioritize more, it seems. Also, he mentioned how I need to work on my conflict resolution methods. Mainly, with my rude sub-boss who is often disrespectful to me. I felt that, I tried to resolve it as best as I could and that I took it to Charlie when I needed help doing so. However, I'm ok with my management skills like that counting against me because it is something I need to improve on.
Overall, I think I should be rewarded somewhat. I wasn't expecting a raise or anything until my year of service had been done, but I guess that's good.
This weekend I'm on call. So, excited about that. Having a half day next Friday will be helpful. I have a doctor's appointment to discuss my sleeping issues. I'm excited about that too.
Really exciting new!!! The story that I wrote was on the U.S. page of CNN! That's right, they picked up my story. Here's a screenshot of my story linked on there.

The story was ok. I was shocked they thought it was so great. However, I'm excited and that is definitely going on the resume.

Good job! That's great that you got on the website. And I understand the importance of looking cute in a situation like that.
Congrats on your great job review! Sounds like they like you and want to give you constructive criticism. Also, hooray for the CNN pickup. That's extremely badass.
