All I need is a miracle

Actually, that title is a little misleading. I just have that really bad 80s song in my head and I couldn't think of a header.

So, my mom has decided to send out my link on CNN to everyone that has ever met me. I'm getting emails from people I haven't seen in 8 years. Which is pretty funny. I guess it's cute that she's proud, I just don't want her to brag to everyone. We got linked on CNN again yesterday for a naked man getting tasered. Doesn't get much better than that. You can't pay for that kind of great news.

Friday and Monday, my co-worker was out and I had double the work. It was nice, though because it made the day go so quickly. Our new web engineer started yesterday and she seems really nice. She's going to help me code later today because I'm dorky.



David and I are marathoning LOST before it comes back on in January. I'm pretty pumped about it. I love that show. There are very few shows I can watch time and time again (the only other one is Seinfeld.) LOST is incredible and what I love most about it is reading the Lost Diary. He obviously is on quite a hiatus because the show was too. However, his analysis and writing is awesome. I wish I could blog like he does.

Point being, our marathons came to a climax last night as we finished with the "Numbers" episode on Season 1 and I could barely sleep I was so creeped out. I didn't go to sleep until about 3 and I need coffee this morning (something I try to avoid like the plague since it's so bad for you.)

I can't believe Christmas is so close. This has always been a weird time of year for me. My mom's dad died on Christmas Eve of 1995. However, with my dad's line of work being in Christmas decorations, it was tough for her to come to like the holiday again. Now, with my mom's mom ill, it's haunting. I just hope she gets through her chemo ok. I'm going up to Memphis for the holidays, so that'll be good to see my Nana. However, she's lost 15 pounds and was only a size 6 before the cancer hit. God knows she probably looks like a stick and that will be saddening.
