Well, we're leaving the party, which was uber lame, and I'm hugging everyone goodbye. As I get to Ernest, he hugs me and pulls back. He looks me in the eye and says
"You're a lot cuter than I thought you would be."
I froze. I had no clue what to say. So, I said "Thank you?"
Then he dug himself deeper as he said
"Not on the outside..."
What the hell!??! What on earth does that mean. David was CRYING laughing and he said that I should excuse him because he was drunk. But, doesn't drunk mean honest?
Needless to say, that was hilarious. I mean, I don't really care what some 5'6" boss of my boyfriend's thinks of my appearance. However, I just want to understand what the heck he COULD have meant.
Now for something SUPER cute:
This is Brandan Dullum's ADORABLE niece. This is Sophia Marie. She's so cute! I'm going to see her on Tuesday or Wednesday, whenever I can get a gift for her. I'm excited.

Cute baby and cut name! Hmmm...I can't decipher that statement either. I think drunk is a good explanation. Honest maybe, but also convoluted.
I asked David. His thought was that (mind you, his boss is very awkward all the time) his boss meant to mention that my personality was nice. So, he said "you are much cuter than I thought you would be." Then, David thinks, he heard himself say that and realized that it sounded like he thought I would be ugly. So, he tried to specify that my personality was nice again. However, he took the awkward route again.
Nonetheless, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt because he could have punched me in the mouth. Haha.
Wait, so like, he'd heard your personality was so awesome that he expected you to be ugly and was surprised when you weren't?
