Crazy email of the day

Well, here's a good one. The first sentence is really the best part:

During several news cast the statement "We are broadcasting in HD" Does this mean that your signal in now coming out as HD? If so, maybe you should add to this statement the following " We are broadcasting in HD, if you are receiving our program it is a good chance you will receive our signal after Feb 17th " Just an idea,

Now, this guy obviously doesn't understand the digital transition. For those of you confused: Digital does not mean HD, but HD does mean digital. It's like the square and rectangle rule.

So, you can have digital cable WITHOUT having HD. Are you missing out on awesomeness? Yes, but you don't really want to hear that.

Thus, on Feb. 17, 2009 when the US goes only digital, just know you don't have to buy an HD box. Just a converter box.
