Chupacabra debate.

**WARNING, PICTURE BELOW ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN...THEN AGAIN, NEITHER IS MY BLOG**

Now, don't get me wrong. There are a million crazy emails we get at the station. However, this one took the cake today.

"Hello,
I do not know if the stories of the Chupacabra are true. However, at 10:00 AM yesterday morning, my husband came across a couple of animals which he could not identify. Made us think of the recent coverage over a Chupacabra, but don't know what they look like. He shot one of them, and we have no idea what it is.. Attached are some pictures that have not been edited or touched in any way; others avaiable too if requested. There are more on the ranch in the same specific area. We live in the middle of Austin on a 6,000 acre ranch. Today he saw 3 more, one of which looks like a pup located in the quarry area of the ranch. We have contacted TPWD to help identify the animal. Thank you very much!"

Now, before I release pictures (which are rather graphic, I must warn) of the animal she shot...I wanted to address one thing.

I mean, how Texan is this? "Muh husbund an I sah uh big animaul an didt know wha it wuz. So, we shaut it." Hilarious to me.

Here are some pictures of what she claims to be a chupacobra **WARNING, PRETTY GRUESOME**:

**UPDATE**
The Texas Wildlife association came by and determined the animal was either a coyote with mange or a blend of a wild pig and a dog. Here's the story on it.

Wait, what is it?

And check out the rendering of a Chupacabra that Wikipedia has: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chupacabra.

Blend of a wild pig and a dog? I don't even want to imagine how that could have happened.
