I have an issue that I need help with. For years, you've heard the phrase "above par" in relevance to an event. The phrase, like I used in my title, hints at a great day. However, in golf, if you hit above par, this is bad. So, when did that switch? So, after some research, I found this yahoo answer stream in response to the question.
Tim Russert died today, which is incredibly sad. "Meet the Press" was a phenomenal show and I'm terribly saddened. :( Age 58, for those who didn't know yet.

Today is Friday the 13th and I'm having a Friday the 13th party. You're supposed to come as your favorite superstition. Oh yeah, it's gonna be great.
I got to edit two videos yesterday. One about the Governor's mansion fire, one about Southwest Airlines' CEO Kelly and one today that's our recurring Tech Monday video. That hasn't published yet, though. It's still weird to see my name on things. Back to the Governor's mansion fire, in case you haven't seen it yet, here are some pictures. It's so shocking and so tragic.

I am jealous that whoever got the best answer on the yahoo question beat me to it. That is literally exactly what I was going to say. By the way, I am going to completely steal your idea to have a Friday the 13th party next time it happens. And Mick Jagger is an awesome dog to have.
