Need some R&R

So, it's sweeps. I personally think that the November sweeps period is the worst of all of them. It comes at a bad time. During November, everyone is making holiday plans and buying gifts, etc. Yet, here we are in the November sweeps and we're not even allowed to take a sick day. Our reporters last week worked 60 hour days and worked through the weekend due to the tragedy at Fort Hood. We're all tired.

All I want to do is take a sick day and sleep. Sleep all day long. Yet I can't. Because it's sweeps. Because some silly company decided randomly that this time of year would be a good time to figure out whether people watch our station or not. So silly. As a web person, this makes no sense.

In good news, we are doing pretty well in the ratings race. So, yay for that!
