Go tell it on the mountain

If you knew how much I hate that hymn, you would laugh at the idea of me using it as a title for a blog. But, it does explain what I did this weekend.

Well, after the terrible burglary and the dibilitating migraine that I got the next day, my parents coming into town was a nice change. My dad found a neat Spa and Resort out in Edwards, Colorado that we could get a great deal on. So, we packed up my car and drove out to The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera.

On the way out to the spa, we saw the most incredible double rainbow. Check out David's Facebook profile to see a slight glimpse of it.

We laid out by the pool, we relaxed, David and my mom got massages and we ate lots of food. Oh, and hiked. So awesome.

Beyond all of that, it was really wonderful tha twe got to stare at the gorgeous mountains and just take it easy. I really needed that after the week I had. So, thanks to my parents for coming to visit. They left this morning for Dallas, which I'm pretty sure was upsetting to them because it was 104 when they got home. GROSS.
