Well, along with the whole workout procedure, I've decided to buy a scale.
For years, I never owned a scale. This is mainly because scales remind me a little too much of being a cheerleader and having to weigh myself all the time. Too upsetting.
But, if I really want to lose some weight, I'm going to have to know how much weight I'm losing. So, I bought a scale.
Of course, buying the scale was kind of hilarious. Mostly because I have no place to put the scale. For some reason I thought I could put it on carpet. I knew you used to not be able to do that, but I thought - surely by now - they've come up with a type of technology where that's no longer needed. Turns out that's not true.
Still, I have started weighing myself everyday. It's rather weird. But, I think it will hold me accountable with losing weight. :D
Now, if only I can figure out where to put the scale besides next to the sink on its side.

Honestly, I'd recommend only weighing yourself once a week. It gives a more accurate reflection of what is being lost. Day to day you can have fluctuations in water weight, and if you go up a pound one day after you had lost some the day before, it can be very discouraging.
Also, then it doesn't feel like you're completely obsessed with your weight.
@Ashley - Great point. I used to weigh myself every other day back in high school, but I would always do it at the same time every day, so I think that helped me keep it more consistent.
I like the idea of once a week though!
I agree with Ashley. Also do it at the same time every day. In the morning after you use the restroom and before you eat or drink anything is best. Your body is at its most basic set point and food won't be adding any weight.
You're beautiful no matter what, though :)
Wow I just reread my comment and realized you said the exact same thing in reply to Ashley. Never mind!
