Crappy television

So, today I'm home sick because my stomach decided it was mad at me. So, I've been home watching crappy daytime television.

Nowe, don't get me wrong. I heart bad television shows. Here are some crappy shows I love:
* Desperate Housewives - I love the satire of this show. Many people think this show is not satirical. Those people don't understand Danny Elfman. INCRED.
* The Biggest Loser - I actually just started watching this show this season, but I already love it. I just sit on the couch, cry and want to work out. so I give this show an A+ for inspiration. And if you are looking for a feel good show, start watching this.
* The Office - A lot of people criticize this show because it's "not as good as the original." Well, yeah, no crap. But the original show had only two series and a Christmas special, so they aren't really comparable. And people that say that must also hate every movie that was turned into a show or a movie because it's "not as good as the original." The shows are completely different. The first two seasons kind of stunk, but the rest have been awesome.
* 30 Rock - I heart this show. I'm not quite sure if it's funny just because I work at NBC, or if it's just plain funny. But the quick wit and Family Guy-esque random asides are majorly entertaining. I think one of my favorite jokes was when Alec Baldwin's character asks one of the characters to sing a new intro song for NBC Sports. Tina Fey asks "What sports does NBC still have?" And Baldwin says "Off-season tennis"
* Grey's Anatomy - Originally, I only started watching this show because it was after Desperate Housewives. Also, I loved Sandra Oh and Isaiah Washington. However, when Washington left the show, I was left with a decision. I HATE Katherine Heigl's character and pretty much root for her to die every episode. Still, if I don't watch the show, I start to wonder what happened on it. So, now, I'm still watching it.
* Private Practice - I started watching this shoe because I have a girl crush on Kate Walsh. Point and case.

Shows I have never watched and have no intention to watch:

* American Idol - I can sing. I'm not impressed by them.
* Survivor - I really think the whole thing is fake.
* Pretty much anything done by CBS. Honestly, I just hate their promos. They are really corny and ridiculous. I watch football games on that channel and all of my friends will just sit there with me and laugh about the corny promos.

Agree: DH, The Office, The Biggest Loser (although you can pretty much just watch the season finale and not miss anything, or so I hear).

30 Rock and The Office are Love.

See, for me, the Biggest Loser is rocking my kasbah right now because it's making me want to work out. It's an inspirational tool for me currently.

Oh, and Danny, I guess I meant crappy Tv show in the sense that it's not really changing the world. Except for, ya know, awesome that's what she said jokes. Note that I did not put LOST on this list because that is the best drama ever made for television.
