"Been smoking since I was 10. Three packs a day since college except for a couple years in the 60 s. No problem with cold turkey. Smoking is a habit - not an addiction. I still get the urge to bite my finger nails but I have had false teeth for 23 years. Presidents should know this. Stress is dangerous. Smoking is not and it calms the nerves. I hope Obama does not continue to be fooled by Junk Science.

I share his name because he has a blog and something says he's not worried about his name getting out there.
OK, do you know how many president's smoked? It was said that Bush drank a little too much, which wouldn't shock me. I mean, honestly, being President has got to be one of the most stressful jobs in the world and I can only imagine how many vices one wants to go through while in it. I mean, I'd like to think that I wouldn't do any of that if I were president, but I can't really judge people that do. However, I do admire Obama for trying to quit the nasty habit. (I wish this photo below was a real picture of Obama smoking. The only one I can find online is the one where he's smoking that handrolled cigarette when he was, like, 20.)

I HATE smoking and really dislike people that do. However, my boss NEEDS to smoke. I can tell that it physically calms her down and if she doesn't smoke she gets super on edge. I would rather not get my head bit off by someone who needs nicotine. If they want to give themselves cancer because they can't handle their stress in a healthy way, go for it. Just don't give me cancer. That is why I am for the smoking ban in Texas. :)

Wow, that really is a crazy email. Smoking isn't bad? I like his phrase though - junk science. That's funny.
Yeah, like what science in the WORLD tells you smoking does great things to your body. Just curious. Where's that science chapter. I mean, it's not like it's a government conspiracy. The REAL conspiracy is LEGALIZING smoking.
