Jack and Kate ruin everything

OK, it's going to be a LOST centric post. So, if you didn't watch the LOST two-hour extravaganza last night, skip most of this entry.

OK, so don't get me started on how much I wanted the status explained. Ever since that episode when Sayid, Jin and Sun were sailing to surprise the "others" and they spotted it, I wanted an explanation. Though we didn't QUITE get an explanation last night, it sent me for a mind-whirl.


Now for theories, I think that guy at the beginning of the episode who wanted to kill Jacob has possessed Locke's body and is making him do his bidding. I also think that guy possessed Christian, but that didn't work as well as he couldn't find out where Jacob was (hiding in the foot) instead of his cabin. So, that's one theory.


I also am not sure the bomb will actually reset time. I mean, I'd like to hope that it resets, so that the whole Jack/Kate group never go back to the island. Mainly because I heart Juliet and Sawyer together. I mean, though the part was pretty corny, I was totally sad when Juliet plummeted to her death.


Now, for why I hate Jack and Kate. I hate Jack because his character started out being a badass. And he has moments of total awesomeness. However, when he's pining for a woman and feeling sorry for himself, I just want him to jump off a bridge (and yes, I was rooting for that suicide). I mean, you're a premiere spinal surgeon in one of the best cities for hospitals. Cry me a river. Speaking of crocodile tears, let's move to Kate.


Ok, ho. Get over yourself. So you had Daddy issues. So you had Mommy issues after you solved those Daddy issues. I mean, come on. I have never ONCE felt sorry for Kate's character. She puts herself in impossible situations and then wonders why the world isn't on her side. Her raising Aaron? Selfish. Her teetering between Jack and Sawyer? Selfish. That girl only has her interests at hand and pretends to be helping others. That drives me insane.

Waiting until 2010 might kill me.

Ok, so my trainer kicked my bum today. I've decided that my refund check is going to go toward a personal trainer. It's really expensive, but worth the money, I think. So, yay for that. Last year my stimulus money went toward a new bed and now that bed is kind of crap. So, bad investment there. But, as all economists know, you must spend over 90% of the money given to you by the government (stimulus or refund) on something other than debt for it to actually help the economy. However, people are idiots and are in debt, so they can't do that. This is why it doesn't work.
