Here's the story:
I LOVE A Christmas Story. I love that movie so much. And Christmas is just not Christmas if I don't watch that movie. So, on the plane on the way to Memphis, David and I started to watch it. However, after the terrorist attacks, we couldn't bring out electronics at all.
Thus, I didn't get to watch the movie, in full, until last night. It always makes me cry and always makes me laugh until I cry.
Here's the original trailer:
There are multiple things I love about this movie:
* Every line is perfect
* I love how the father practically curses, but it just comes out as gibberish
* I enjoy the fact that everyone has wanted a gift that they just KNEW they had no chance of getting. I think mine was roller blades. My parents said they were way too dangerous. But, my aunt got them for me and I never even broke my arm on them.
* I think the battle over the "major award" is classic. Everyone's parents have had some sort of battle like this. So classic.

I pray this comment works, first of all. Second of all, I think the traumatizing Santa experience is awesome.
PS - Yay!
I haven't seen it :(
CHRISTINE!!!! I will let you borrow that movie the next time I see you.
