Brandan's engaged!

OK, so it takes very little to excite me, but Brandan is engaged and I'm super excited for her. I helped Ian, now her fiance, pick out the ring. Here's a picture of it below:


She was super excited and actually pretty surprised, which is nice. Lots of things went "wrong" but I think those things are the stories you'll tell for the rest of your lives. We met them for brunch the next day and it was marvelous to see her big smile. I felt like such a liar not telling her, but I HAD to keep it a secret. That kind of thing HAS to be shocking, I feel.
