Isn't it ironic

So you know the song. The song that's not full of ironic things, but simply terrible luck things. Well, this situation is genuinely ironic.

So, as you know, my grandmother was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. Well, I was looking at the cycling training I'm starting in January. And suddenly I notice the small print. I'm not just raising money for Leukemia. It's the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. Wow. It's like I knew beforehand that I needed to take action. To help others. What are the odds that my seemingly healthy grandmother would contract the very disease that I chose to raise money for? Now...THAT'S ironic.
